Professional practice: OUGD502 BRIEF 1, DESIGN DATING

Today I was given my first brief for PPP and to summarise it I basically have to interview a working professional in some manner. I could either contact a freelance designer, a large or small scale studio or company of my choice. Whence I interviewed them I could document this in a form of my choice. This could be a physical publication, podcast interview, video or something never done before.

For a simple exercise we did a task called design speed dating. We would meet someone we weren't too familiar with in the class and ask questions from a sheet themed around design and their experiences. It was a good exercise to briefly practice interviewing and also sharing what inspires us. I shared a few designers that I follow and also discovered some new ones from this task which is great.

To begin the actual project I decided to put a few names together that Id possibly like to get in touch with. These are all designers, artists and studios that inspire me and my work.
